Prince William's wife Kate has no plans to slow down

She might be six months pregnant, but the Duchess of Cambridge has vowed there’ll be no slowing down and putting her feet up just yet.

Kate Middleton, 31, is determined to continue with her royal commitments and already has an impressive five engagements booked into her diary for this week alone.

A source tells Now: ‘Kate plans to work for as long as she possibly can.

‘She’ll obviously keep a close eye on her health and that of the baby, but she doesn’t see why that means she has to stay at home doing nothing.

‘She’s made commitments and it just wouldn’t be her style not to stick to them.’

Kate‘s decision echoes that of Prince William‘s mum Princess Diana, who was still fulfilling royal engagements just days before she gave birth.

She even insisted on attending a polo event in Windsor on 17 June 1982, four days before Wills‘ birth.

Prince William is, however, taking precautions to be around for Kate.

A spokesperson for the Royals last week confirmed that the 30-year-old’s decided not to take on any duties abroad for the time being so that he can stay in the UK to be with his wife.

Aww, we love this couple!
