Doting mum Kate Middleton has been spotted a month after the birth of Princess Charlotte

Sometimes it’s hard to imagine Kate Middleton doing everyday mum duties but it seems that she’s just like the rest of us.

The Duchess, 33, has been spotted play-acting with Prince George in a London park, the first time she’s been seen in public since the birth of daughter Princess Charlotte last month.

Kate took 23-month-old George to Holland Park over the weekend for a fun outing and wasn’t afraid to look a bit silly as, according to eyewitnesses, she ran around after her son in the most adorable way.

‘It looked like she was pretending to be a monster, flailing her arms about and chasing him,’ an onlooker says.

‘She was play-acting just like all mums do and he was running around loving it – he looked very happy.

‘It was a bit like [the Disney film] Monsters, Inc.’

Awww! With Prince William and new baby Charlotte absent from the playdate, George was able to enjoy having his mum all to himself and clearly had a ball.

‘He looked like such a happy lad, being chased by his mom and enjoying the swings, slides, roundabouts – they were going on everything,’ the observer tells People.

‘They looked just like any other mom and toddler.’

And just when we thought the mum and son outing couldn’t get any cuter, it turns out that they wore MATCHING outfits well suited to the cold and wet weather.

‘They had matching waxed-green coats on and dark jeans with boots,’ the source reveals.

‘They both looked matching!’

The family headed to their country residence Anmer Hall in Norfolk shortly after the birth of baby Charlotte last month but it sounds like they’ve been enjoying the odd trip into the city, given that Holland Park is just a 10-minute drive from their home at Kensington Palace.

And Kate is clearly still full of energy despite being a mum of two under two and isn’t showing signs of fatigue, with the onlooker saying: ‘They both looked really well.’

We’re glad to hear it!
