Katie is back at work following the birth of her little girl
She hosted a fashion show put on by sixth formers at Queen Anne’s School in Caversham where she gave a speech about the aim of her charity work.
‘Having a scar means never having a day off. Simply put, The Katie Piper Foundation is here to help make it easier to live with burns and scars,’ Katie, 30, said on Sunday night.
Glamorous in a fuchsia midi skirt and a Katie Piper Foundation tee, she went on to give an encouraging talk about body image and confidence.
‘I know you wanted the event to show that in fact you do not have to be tall, thin or gorgeous to look great in clothes,’ Katie continued.
‘Your concept really excited me as I am a huge believer in breaking stereotypes and believe there isn’t just one route or look that helps you achieve happiness or fulfilment.’
