The model explains how her son's disabilities affect his behaviour

Katie Price has spoken out about her son Harvey‘s disabilities, which severely affect his behaviour and can lead to violent outbursts.

Harvey, 10, suffers from Prader-Willi syndrome, as well as partial blindness, autism and ADHD.

‘Any kids that come to the house, they run a mile from Harvey,’ says Katie, 34.

‘He might be sitting here one minute, then he’d turn and whack them one because he likes to hear kids cry – he finds it funny.’

As well as son Harvey, conceived during her relationship with footballer Dwight Yorke, the model has two children with ex-husband Peter Andre

Katie is keen to raise awareness of the difficulties parents with disabled children face, and is hitting back at critics who often ask why she let’s Harvey get away with being so ‘controlling’.

‘It’s not that I’m letting him – It’s just him. That’s autism,’ Katie tells The Guardian Weekend.

‘We all know what he’s like.’
