Film director rants at Jade clan after quitting Big Brother
Ken Russell last night branded the Goody gang as worse than slumdwellers after his shock exit from the Big Brother house.
The 79-year-old film director – who admitted it was a dare to go in the house – accused Jade and Jack of causing him so much stress that he feared he would have a stroke.
And he let rip to The Sun about Jade and her mum Jackiey, referring to them as ‘evil spirits’.
‘I grew up in the slums of Southampton and we had a word for people like that – guttersnipes,’ he said. They speak in a language which is deliberately limited. They didn’t even seem to know how to use a knife and fork.
‘They were always name dropping or going on about using sunbeds. I’ve met people from all walks of life, but no one so vulgar.’
Ken, who had superbug MRSA in 2004, and has already had a stroke, added. ‘I thought: “If this is going to go on for 25 days, I can’t take it”.’
