Seems like things are definitely on the up for these two!
Despite experiencing some notable marital issues, Kerry Katona and her husband George Kay have not only reunited, but have taken to social media to commemorate their second wedding anniversary.
Atomic Kitten singer Kerry, 36, has recently dropped major hints regarding reconciliation with George in the form of some very public displays of affection in front of paparazzi, as well as warmly acknowledging each other over Twitter. And now, some heartfelt posts between them remembering their special day looks to confirm their second crack at a relationship!
Celebrating two years since their nuptials at Gloucestershire’s Tortworth Court Hotel, Kerry tweeted a ‘happy anniversary’ message to her other half on Wednesday evening (14th September), followed by quote about marriage and growing as a couple:
‘Marriage is love, honesty, respect & kindness. Making an attempt @ loving each other in a new way. & learning, reaching & growing in life as a couple.’
George responded with a picture of an anniversary message on a bed of roses:
As well as many messages from fans, another who joined in with well wishes is Kerry’s second eldest, Lilly McFadden, from her first marriage to Westlife’s Brian McFadden.
All the loving messages prove how far that the couple have come since Kerry called time on their relationship in October 2015, following her an assault charge against him at their home. In an interview soon after the arrest, she told the Loose Women panel of her break-up:
‘I’m still madly in love with George. I’m still married to him. But sometimes things have got to come to an end. And that’s that really.’
Yet over the past couple of months, they have been becoming closer and closer – resulting in their apparent reunion now.
We wish them the best!
