Kim's trainer tells Now exclusively about her new regime
Kim Kardashian is hitting the headlines again with her babe-o-licious curves – but there’s something different about Ms K these days.
‘She’s happy,’ confides a close friend.
‘She’s about to turn 30 and has found the self-acceptance that comes with that age.’
Following her split with her long-term love, American football player Reggie Bush, in March, Kim‘s weight plummeted.
Six months on, she’s back on the singles scene, having just split from American footballer Miles Austin following a three-month romance – and has changed her diet rules.
‘Kim was killing herself trying to be a size 0,’ the source tells Now.
‘She was obsessively counting every calorie, doing insane amounts of cardio and taking diet supplements.
‘Then she realised: I’m not meant to be a size 0 and I look better if I’m not.”
Her personal trainer Gunnar Peterson agrees.
‘Kim eats real food.
‘She eats carbs and some sugar but she doesn’t do it after 7pm – that’s her secret.
‘And she loves her workouts – we were out training this morning at 8am!’
Our source adds: ‘Her new diet isn’t about fitting into some ideal.
‘If she wants chocolate, she’ll have it.
‘That’s why she looks so good – she’s being gentle on herself.’
