Kym Marsh's facing her first Christmas since her love split
It’s a time for families.
While last year was a big family affair, this year Kym will just have two-year-old daughter Polly for company as her older kids David, 18, and Emily, 15, are spending the festive season with their dad Dave Cunliffe.
The Corrie star is also preparing for her divorce from Jamie to come through in January.
Kym, 37, tells Now: ‘It’ll just be me and Polly. I’ll be crying into my onions and Christmas crackers.’
A source adds: ‘She’s strong, but it’ll be a tough few weeks.
‘She’s had a hard year and in the run-up to Christmas everything that went wrong will be playing on her mind.’
Kym split from Jamie, 33, in October after she was accused of a five-month fling with former co-star Oliver Mellor, which they both deny.
It then emerged that she’d called police to their Worsley home in August after a row.
She later filed for divorce, citing Jamie‘s unreasonable behaviour.
Although Kym – who’s lost weight from the stress – admits there may be tears at Christmas, she’s determined to keep strong.
Now can reveal she’s just got a tattoo on her foot that reads: ‘Everything happens for a reason.’
She also recently Tweeted this quote from Johnny Depp: ‘Just keep moving forward and don’t give a shit about what anyone thinks. Do what you have to do, for you,’ with the caption: ‘True.’
