Coronation Street actress Kym Marsh pays tribute to her child Archie who she lost in 2009
Kym Marsh has taken to Twitter to pay tribute to her son Archie, who she unfortunately lost in 2009 after he was sadly born 18 weeks early.
Posting a picture of a beach along with a quote on Twitter, so dedicated it to her child, saying: ‘For my Archie who we miss everyday. We love you. Remembering all the angel babies today.’
The photo posted included a quote that said ‘All children are miracles, even the ones who couldn’t stay very long.’
The 38-year-old soap actress and ex-husband Jamie Lomas were devastated by the death of their son Archie.
But Kym, who plays Michelle Connor in ITV soap drama Coronation Street, has revealed all the abuse that she previously received on social media, over the death of her son.
‘I’ve had all sorts on Twitter – death threats, people calling me a home-wrecker.’
‘But the worst things someone said was, ‘remember when your baby died and I laughed?’
Opening up and talking to the Daily Star Sunday, Kym said she got sick message that make you think ‘they are coming from someone who is not well’, but that won’t stop her and she’d ‘never consider quitting Twitter.’
‘You never get used to that. You want to tell everyone it isn’t true but people don’t listen because they have already made their minds up.’
Opening up about how frustrating it is that people see her in a certain way, Kym says that she just has to live with it ‘because it comes with the territory and is part of the job.’
Kym also has three other children, Emily and David, who she had from her previous relationship to Dave Cunliffe.
Teenage daughter, Emily, took part in this year’s series of The Voice, singing in front of judges Will.i.Am, Tom Jones, Rita Ora and Ricky Wilson, but sadly, didn’t make it through to the next round.
