EastEnders star had a supernatural experience

Lacey Turner once felt the presence of a ghost when she was at an awards ceremony.

The actress, who is famous for playing Stacey Slater in EastEnders, thinks that the spooky encounter may have had something to do with her much-loved great-grandmother.

‘I think I’ve felt the presence of a ghost,’ says Lacey, 24.

‘It was years ago at an awards ceremony. My great-grandmother died when I was little but we were close.

‘I felt someone put their hand on my shoulder. I turned around but there was no one there. I felt it was her but I don’t know for sure.’

Lacey will soon be seen onscreen again in new ITV2 series Switch but she admits that she wouldn’t rule out a return to EastEnders.

‘I had a lovely time there and was blessed with great storylines,’ Lacey tells Metro.

‘I loved Stacey as a character, made lovely friends and had the best 7 years of my life. I don’t know whether I’ll ever go back. I’d certainly never say never because I loved being Stacey.’
