Church leaders in South Africa have taken a dislike to the singer

Lady Gaga has had security beefed up at her Cape Town show – thanks to church groups who think she is the bride of Satan.

Lady Gaga, 26, has caused protests in South Africa, where The South African Council of Churches marched to the department of Arts and Culture in Pretoria to try and prevent the gigs.

Protester Abraham Warren said Gaga‘s music was ‘a mockery to Christianity.’

‘Allowing the bride of Satan into the country will allow a curse to enter,’ he says.

In August, a Romanian MP accused Gaga of being ‘a disciple of Satan.’

You can’t pay for that kind of publicity.
