Bruce Jenner's gender battle sparks a massive reaction from the stars
Bruce Jenner‘s revelation that he identifies as a woman – and has been battling with gender issues for many years – has prompted a flood of support from a host of celebrities.
The 65-year-old former Olympian emotionally opened up about his ‘female soul’ in a fascinating two-hour ABC interview with Diane Sawyer on Friday night. In the moving chat he spoke of how he planned to transition into a woman and that he hoped people’s reaction to his confession would be ‘open-minded’.
Bruce‘s news has certainly been greeted by a very positive response in the showbiz world. Amongst the stars to Tweet about it was Lady Gaga, who wrote: ‘We have the chance to write this moment in history together. Let’s empower people like Bruce all over the world by being loving & not mean.💗

Others to voice their opinion included Ariana Grande. The 21-year-old singer posted: ‘bruce jenner is beautiful💕 we all need to commit to making this world a more loving, supportive, SAFE /non judgemental place to be ourselves’ Her sweet message was later re-Tweeted by Bruce‘s daughter Kylie Jenner.
The Kardashian family have lots of famous pals including British model Cara Delevingne, BFF to Kendall Jenner. She Tweeted: ‘I respect Bruce Jenner so much! What he’s done takes so much courage x

Cara also hit out at Kim Kardashian‘s ex-husband Kris Humphries, who appeared to make a dig at Bruce by writing on Twitter: ‘Man, I’m glad I got out when I did. #Gottadoyou’
The model and actress made it clear that she wasn’t happy about the cruel jibe when she re-Tweeted a message criticising him for it.
‘Kris Humphries is a bellend, I can’t believe what he tweeted about Bruce,’ the post from another Twitter user read.
Another Brit friend of the Kardashians, singer Sam Smith, got behind Bruce too. He wrote: ‘Absolutely flawed at how courageous and brave Bruce Jenner is. So inspiring and so powerful. Shame on anyone who dare judge x’
Miley Cyrus for one was seriously full of admiration for Bruce.
