The new empress of pop is happy being single
I’m single,’ she admits when we catch up with her at the launch of her MAC Viva Glam lipstick in London.
I’m in a different city every day. I don’t have nearly enough time to get to know anyone. Even Lady Gaga can be celibate. You don’t have to have sex to be loved.’
Taking a swipe at her ex-lovers, she tells us: Orgasms are the biggest sexual challenge for women. Sex should be fun, beautiful and colourful, but women get the short end of the stick.’
Gaga‘s clearly no stranger to Bad Romance.
I had a boyfriend who told me I’d never be a success, never be nominated for a Grammy, never have a hit song and that he hoped I’d fail,’ she reveals.
I said to him: “Someday, when we’re not together, you won’t be able to order a cup of coffee at the f***ing deli without hearing or seeing me.”
Some women choose to follow men and some women choose to follow their dreams. If you’re wondering which way to go, remember that your career will never wake up and tell you it doesn’t love you any more,’ she advises.
