She’s back on our screens, but Lauren is keeping her love life well away from TOWIE…
Lauren, 29, has slotted back in with old cast mates Bobby Norris, Gemma Collins and Lydia Bright easily, but there are some things she’s leaving well in the past.
As one of the original cast members of the hit ITVBe reality show, Lauren’s first storyline was based around her engagement to Mark Wright, and the turbulent fall out.
And, despite being linked to Joey Harrison, who’s currently serving an 18-year prison sentence, Lauren is determined to keep her love life away from TOWIE.
Speaking to Now, she explains: ‘It’s different for the cast who get with other people in the cast. But it’s difficult and there is a pressure there. I don’t need to do that. I have done it before but I will never do it again.’
Relationships may be out of the question, but Lauren admits she’d love to get the entire original cast back for a special episode. She adds: ‘That would be an amazing filming session with everyone in it together.’
Apart from a small handful – including Bobby and Gemma – the TOWIE cast is completely different now to when Lauren bowed out at the end of series six.
But, despite all of the new personalities, Lauren says filming the show is exactly how she remembers it. ‘The only newbies I’ve had scenes with are Danielle Armstrong and Megan McKenna. The show has changed, but that’s not a bad thing. It’s a young, new, fresh cast and I really enjoyed it.
‘Megan’s brilliant, she’s a friend of mine anyway so I felt comfortable, like it was just a normal day in Essex! It’s not a bad change.’
The Only Way Is Essexmas starts Sunday 18 December at 10pm on ITVBe.
