The country singer denies anorexia accusations
She’s had a ‘rollercoaster’ four years, so perhaps it’s no surprise LeAnn Rimes has looked worryingly thin at times.
But now the country singer is back with new album Spitfire, and sporting a healthier looking frame.
LeAnn, 30, who met current husband, actor Eddie Cibrian, 39, in 2009 when they were both married to other people, says the stress made her shed the weight.
‘People said I was [anorexic],’ she says.
‘But I didn’t have a problem with eating as I ate a tonne all the time – I could eat my husband under the table! But I was going through a time when I just wasn’t sleeping – my mind wouldn’t shut off and my heart was breaking.
‘Now I’m secure about my body, although I’m like any other woman and have my moments of self doubt. But it’s nice to have a husband who tells you you’re beautiful all the time. I’ll say to him: “I’ve gained a few pounds” and he’ll say: “Good!”.
LeAnn spent 30 days in rehab for anxiety and stress last August, but looked relaxed and healthy at a gig at the O2 in London last month.
‘I’ve made mistakes along the way, but I hope I’ve learned from them. I hope I never stop trying to figure it all out,’ she tells Mail Online.
