And X Factor winner’s tipped to win album battle
She’s already toppled the Take That boys, and now Leona Lewis is set to take the Spice Girls on in an album chart battle.
The X Factor winner’s fab debut album Spirit is up against the group’s Greatest Hits next week.
And Leona, 22, is tipped to beat Posh, Geri, Emma and the two Mels.
She’s said to be outselling them by six to one in pre-sales.
‘The Spice Girls may have a fanatical following but even they can’t derail that juggernaut that’s Leona Lewis,’ says a source.
‘The amazing sales of her single Bleeding Love only served to ramp up enthusiasm for her album. Leona is well out in front.’
And Leona is also predicted to be No 1 at Christmas.
‘Leona looks like the safest bet for the big seller this Christmas but it is still going to be a massive festive season for the Spice Girls,’ the source tells the Daily Mirror.
Leona beat her childhood heroes Take That in the singles chart 2 weeks ago.
But the boys took defeat well and are said to feel strongly about encouraging new artists. They’re even set to give 5 new musicians the chance to support them on tour.
