Actress Lindsay Lohan will continue treatment as an outpatient

Lindsay Lohan has been released from rehab early.

The actress left California’s UCLA Medical Center yesterday after 22 days of treatment.

‘She has been released from inpatient rehab,’ her attorney Ed McPherson confirms to Us Weekly.

Lindsay – who was originally ordered to spend 90 days at UCLA – will continue treatment as an outpatient.

A hearing on her progress is due to take place at a Beverly Hills court later today.

Lindsay, 24, received a 90-day jail sentence last month for violating her probation from a 2007 case.

She was released after serving just 14 days for good behaviour and because of overcrowding and then immediately went into rehab.
