Actress now in rehab

Lindsay Lohan has been released from prison – after serving just 14 days of a 90-day sentence.

The actress left Lynwood Correctional Facility in California at 9.35am today and has now entered a rehab facility.

‘In line with the court order she is now under the jurisdiction of a treatment programme,’ Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Benjamin Grubb confirms to Reuters.

Lindsay, 24, received the jail sentence last month for violating her probation from a 2007 case.

She was released early for good behaviour and because of overcrowding.

As part of the sentence, Lindsay will have to complete a 3-month rehab programme.
