Can you believe it’s nearly been half a decade since the girls became the first (and so far only) group to win the show?

This Sunday marks five years since Little Mix won The X Factor. They’re now the biggest girl band in the world but, to mark the occasion, they’re coming home…

Because it’s also the X Factor final this weekend and Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jesy Nelson and Perrie Edwards will return sing two tracks from their number one album Glory Days!

Taking to Twitter to confirm the news, the girls wrote: ‘This is gonna be soooooo epic! We’re performing #Touch and #Oops LIVE with @charlieputh THIS SUNDAY on @TheXFactor.’

Unsurprisingly the girls’ loyal fans, known as the Mixers, went into complete meltdown following the announcement and rushed to tweet their excitement.

A performance on The X Factor definitely seems like the best way for Little Mix to round of what has been an incredible year for them.

Their Get Weird tour, in support of album number three, has been named the UK’s biggest arena tour of 2016, and the fifth highest grossing by a girl group of all time.

Shout out To My Ex was released in October and spent three weeks at number one, before Glory Days became the girls’ first number one album a month later.
