These girls are unstoppable

In just five years Little Mix have become the twelfth best-selling girl group in the world which, when you consider they’re just behind icons including Spice Girls, Destiny’s Child and TLC, is no mean feat.

Since winning The X Factor in 2011, Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall have sold more than 23m records worldwide – and their record-breaking continues.

Little Mix are the first girl band ever to have seven Vevo certified music videos, clocking up more than 100m views on each of them. The videos that made the list include the girls’ debut single Wings, Salute, Secret Love Song and Shout Out To My Ex, which only premiered seven weeks ago…

Amazingly, the huge 2015 number one Black Magic now has more than 250m views.

As if all of that wasn’t enough to be getting on with, earlier this year the girls’ Get Weird tour was named the fifth highest-grossing by a girl group of all time after raking in almost £20m from ticket sales since it kicked off in March.

The girls’ have spoken out in the past about what they think makes them so successful, and the answer is simple: they really are best mates!

Jesy said: ‘We just clicked instantly. We’re really lucky, it could have been a disaster and we could’ve ended up hating each other. I think that’s why a lot of girl bands don’t work – you get that clash of personalities.’

Leigh added to You Magazine: ‘No one wants to be the main star, no one wants to outdo the others. We don’t have that one person who is the b*tch or egotistical. We all just get on.’
