Katie Price is back with her 12th reality TV series - and it promises to be explosive
She lives by her motto ‘never underestimate the Pricey’ and, boy, is Katie Price right.
Move over Madonna, because when it comes to being the queen of reinvention this fierce mother-of-five has well and truly stolen her crown.
Just when we thought Katie was swapping the limelight for being a stay-at-home mum and a loving (and very forgiving) wife to Kieran Hayler, we were wrong.
Well, sort of. She is still being a stay-at-home mum but in front of the cameras.
We’re excited to say Katie is opening her doors once more to invite the world into her home as she launches a brand new warts-and-all reality TV show. It will be her 12th TV reality series about her life.
The multi-millionaire model, 36, previously had a joint show with her ex Peter Andre on ITV2.
Peter is about to launch its spin-off channel ITVBe.
Although the show must be kicking themselves for missing the past year of Katie’s life full of dramas.
Katie announced she was pregnant with her fifth child, and then the following day dished out the shock news that she was divorcing Kieran for cheating on her with her best mate.
Well, TWO of her besties as it emerged afterwards.
Still she has recently announced she’ll be renewing her wedding vows so that will make for some interesting viewing we’re sure.
Katie is aware the tumultuous relationship will have the potential to draw in major numbers of viewers and is set to start filming the series soon.
Meanwhile the star – who also has Jett, 13 months, with Kieran, as well as her 12-year-old son Harvey from her previous relationship with Dwight Yorke and nine-year-old son Junior and seven-year-old daughter Princess Tiaamii from her failed marriage to Peter – is weighing up the possibility of even more children.
She told us: ‘I just want more kids until the doctor says: “No more”. I’ve always said that I want loads of children.’
Katie also brushed off recent criticism of her newborn daughter Bunny’s name, adding: ‘I’m flattered that it’s provoked such a discussion when you think about what’s going on in the world.
‘I’m actually flattered that people are talking about me. If I’m a talking point then that’s not a bad thing.’
Katie’s last reality show on Sky Living show only got 560,000 viewers – half of what she used to get on ITV.
Pete on the other hand got ratings of over 1million on his ITV2 show which he endedlast year after 10 series.
He said at the time that his fiance Emily MacDonagh wasn’t so comfortable in the spotlight.
He said: ‘I am with someone who is a lot more private and even though I am public and I could never ask for privacy, you have to also respect the other person.
‘But it’s not just that, I do honestly think that we’ve done it and the public have been amazing, and I would hate it for the ratings to start slipping and then I have to stop.’
With a gaping Peter-Katie Price reality-sized hole in our lives it was about time one of them got back in front of the camera.
We’ll certainly be tuning in then. *cancels social life*
