Former TOWIE star Lucy Mecklenburgh reveals her slimming secrets

Flaunting her svelte figure in a teeny tiny leotard on ITV show Tumble last year, you’d think Lucy Mecklenburgh was immune to things like cellulite.

But the former TOWIE star says that like many women, she too has suffered from the dreaded orange peel look on her bum and thighs.

And when pics of her relaxing on holiday in Mexico two years ago appeared online – showing her backside – she was mortified.

‘That’s when I knew something had to change and I had to start training. Now, I exercise around four times a week. If I can’t fit it in, I’ll try and walk somewhere rather than drive,’ she has previously said.

At around 9st 7lb, 5ft 6in Lucy was by no means overweight but she admitted to feeling unhealthy. So she took up exercise and healthy eating, overhauling her lifestyle and dropping to 8st 9lb.

Lucy was keen to share her tips with the world and recently launched her online personal training programme Results With Lucy to help other women get fit. 

Maybe it’s her healthy lifestyle has something to do with her romance with ultra-fit sportsman Louis Smith?

In an effort to encourage others to get in better shape, she recently revealed her diet secrets.

‘After training in the morning, within half an hour I have a green juice. Within one hour of training, I have my breakfast which is usually scrambled egg and turkey or spinach. Lunch is normally
a salmon and avocado salad and for dinner I’ll have a chicken stir fry.

‘I don’t buy the sauce though – I make the sauce myself with soy and
season it. Those lovely sweet chilli sauces are full of calories.’

Recently she shared a meme on her Instagram account displaying the words, ‘WARNING! Squats will create butt.’

She even has her own book titled, Body Beautiful: My Guide To A Healthy Happy New You.

Showing her immense pride over her new figure, on Wednesday morning she posted a before-and-after snap of her bum to show the change on Instagram.

‘My before & after photos .. I have never been overweight just unfit, unhealthy & had that annoying stubborn cellulite 👊 2 years ago I started gradually changing my diet & training 3-5 times a week,’ she captioned the picture.

‘It made me feel like a completely different person! .. That’s why I created @resultswithlucy I’m so proud that nearly 100,000 women have used my online fitness & health programme.’
