Festival-goers react to tragic news of his death

Glastonbury is gearing up to pay tribute to Michael Jackson.

Artists at the Somerset music festival are expected to perform cover versions of his greatest hits over the weekend.

‘Everybody will be celebrating the music of Michael Jackson,’ Radio 1 DJ Jo Whiley tells BBC News.

‘You can guarantee tonight there will be loads and loads of Jacko coming out of sound systems here.’

Many festival-goers heard the tragic news last night.

‘They started playing loads of his music and we thought, “Oh that’s really strange”’ says one fan.

‘We thought it was a joke at first – then people started watching the news and saw it was true.’

Michael, 50, died of a suspected heart attack yesterday afternoon. He leaves three young children.
