The Twilight actor relies on his oldest pals

Robert Pattinson has admitted that he’s finding it tough to find a new social circle.

The Twilight heartthrob, who lives in Los Angeles, thinks that making friends is especially difficult when you’re famous, so he relies on his oldest pals for support.

Fame is a fight to survive! Some people can’t take it and freak out, but I can understand that,’ Rob, 27, tells GQ Italy.

With paps hiding everywhere, it’s really difficult to meet new people and have new experiences.

When I got to the US for Twilight, I only knew people who gave me a ride since I couldn’t drive. They’re my oldest friends.’

Rob’s split from Kristen Stewart, 23, hasn’t helped matters, even though he has been spotted out with Sean Penn’s daughter Dylan.

The actor reportedly didn’t get to see much of K-Stew’s pals after their break-up so he was left feeling a bit lonely.

Kristen has tons of friends that she can lean on, whereas most of Rob’s closest friends are in England,’ a source told Hollywood Life at the time of their May split.

Rob isn’t going to hang with Kristen’s friends anymore, so it’s like he doesn’t have Kristen in his life anymore, and that includes all of her friends.’
