Peaches had Tweeted photo of her mum 24 hours ago
Peaches Geldof has died.
Police are reported to have been called to an address near Wrotham, Kent this afternoon.
‘At this stage, the death is being treated as unexplained and sudden,’ says a statement from Kent Police, reports BBC News.
Mum-of-two Peaches, who was married to second husband Thomas Cohen, leaves two children.
First son Astala was born in April 2012 and the couple welcomed their second little boy Phaedra on 24 April last year on what would have been Peaches‘ late mum Paula Yates’ 54th birthday.
Peaches, 25, chose to have a Caesarean on the date in memory of her mother, who died of a heroin overdose in 2000 when Peaches was 11.
‘My beloved wife Peaches was adored by myself and her two sons,’ says Thomas in a statement.
‘I shall bring them up with their mother in their hearts everyday. We shall love her forever.’
Just 24 hours ago, Peaches Tweeted a picture of herself as a small child with Paula and captioned it: ‘Me and my mum’.
Devastated by the sad news, dad Bob Geldof says: ‘Peaches has died. We are beyond pain.
‘She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us.
‘Writing “was” destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable?
‘We loved her and will cherish her forever. How sad that sentence is.
‘Tom and her sons Astala and Phaedra will always belong in our family, fractured so often, but never broken.
‘Bob, Jeanne, Fifi, Pixie and Tiger Geldof.’
