The Little Mix star has started following a certain TOWIE star on Instagram

Is Little Mix star Jesy Nelson trying to spark a romance with TOWIE’s Chris Clark? Eagle-eyed fans noticed recently that the singer started following Chris on Instagram and he also followed back. It may not sound like much but we all know that in the digital age, a follow or Instagram like can be full on flirting.

Jesy and Chris are both single so why couldn’t romance flourish? Plus, Jesy’s an Essex native and born and raised in Romford. Although men will have a hard time getting Jesy to commit to a relationship again as she said recently she’s loving single life.  She said: ‘I’m free, ­single and loving life. I’d really like to experience flirting with an American guy. That would be nice …I’ve found a lot of ­independence. I think you learn a lot more about yourself when you’re single.’

Jesy was previously rumoured to be dating personal trainer Bradley Church. The pair were rumoured to be set up late last year through her bandmate Perrie Edwards and her footballer boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The foursome were even spotted by fans enjoying a romantic date to Paris. But the romance appeared to turn sour in January when fans spotted that Jesy had unfollowed Bradley on Instagram. Jesy’s last long-term relationship was with ex-fiancé and Rixton frontman Jake Roche. She first sparked rumours they’d parted ways in November when she unfollowed Jake on Instagram.

After weeks of speculation, Jake’s mum Coleen Nolan confirmed the break up in December on Loose Women. Asked: ‘Have they split then?’ Coleen responded: ‘Yes, they have. It’s amicable on both sides. They’re both dealing with it really well and are still good friends. It’s a lot to handle when you are young.’

Jesy opened up that same month about the best way to deal with heartache. She said you need to go through ‘stages of crying’ and replying on the support of her friends.

The singer also admitted the best way to move on is to ‘get yourself out and… mingle.’
