James Corden jokes that new son Max needs to buy his own Mother's Day gift
Funnyman James Corden reckons he’s not buying his fiancée Julia Carey a Mother’s Day present and baby Max Corden will have to do it himself.
Gavin & Stacey star James and 31-year-old Julia became parents for the first time when Max arrived on 22 March.
‘I’ve got plans for my mum on Mother’s Day, but if Max wants to do something for his mummy he’s on his own,’ jokes James, 32.
‘He will just have to go out and get something, it’s got nothing to do with me.
‘If he loves his mum so much he will go out or go online to get her a present.’
James, who proposed to Julia on Christmas Day last year, reveals he’s enjoying the challenges of parenting and isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty.
‘Changing nappies is all right,’ he tells the Daily Mirror.
‘You just need to do it with confidence.’
