Jonas Brother singer will star in Les Miserables

Nick Jonas is to tread the boards in the West End.

The Jonas Brothers hunk is joining the cast of Les Miserables at the Queen’s Theatre for a three-week run.

Nick, 17, will play the part of student Marius from 21 June.

He previously starred as Gavroche in the Broadway run in 2003 before he found fame with his siblings.

‘I went up to him at the closing night party in New York and told him he was terrific and hoped that one day he would return to play Marius,’ show producer Cameron Mackintosh tells the Daily Mail.

‘We’ve been in touch a lot and, of course, since then he has become this world-famous star.

‘He, his father and I agreed that it would be great if he came and played Marius here in London.’

Nick will fly into the capital in the next few days to begin rehearsals.
