Actress Gemma Atkinson, 29, shares her top-to-toe health secrets

Gemma Atkinson puts a lot of effort into keeping her body looking hot.

The actress, 29 – who’s dating personal trainer Olly Foster – works out six times a week for 45 minutes in order to maintain a toned figure.

‘On two days I work my entire body with weights. The other days, I do high-intensity interval training and work my core,’ says Gemma.

‘I also do cardio and abs sessions. If I don’t train, I feel lethargic. Exercise gives me so much energy and focus.’

Gemma’s favourite part of her body is her tummy as it always stays flat but she reckons her legs can get ‘bulky’ and her nickname at school was Thunder Thighs.

Unfortunately for Cristiano Ronaldo‘s ex, ensuring her legs stay slender isn’t always a pleasant experience.

‘I was sick in the gym once!’ reveals Gemma.

‘I was doing this metabolic circuit, which is lots of high-impact exercises with little rest in between, and it just got too much.’
