We quizzed Claudia Winkleman about her health and fitness routine,

The TV presenter, 42, who co-hosts Strictly Come Dancing with Tess Daly this year, definitely isn’t a gym bunny.

How often do you exercise?

Never! I don’t believe in it. It doesn’t suit me to sweat. If I was going to do anything, I’d swim – whenever I’ve done it I’ve always felt amazing afterwards.

But for now, running around after my three children [Jake, 11, Matilda , 7, and Arthur, 2] is enough.

Do you use supplements?

I take Redoxon vitamin C effervescent tablets – especially if I feel like my throat hurts. Other than that, I don’t take anything.

Tell us about your diet.

I’m a big fan of carbs and I love eggs. I try to cook but I’m quite bad at it.

What’s your favourite part of your body?

My brain.It’s definitely the part of me that I’ve paid closest attention to and tried to make grow.

I’m not that worried about the rest of my body.

And your least fave part?

Probably everything else! But I wouldn’t change my body because it’s what I look like.

I know I’m very short – miniature really – but I genuinely don’t care. At the end of the day, it doesn’t really matter, does it?

How do you get red carpet ready?

My trick isn’t Spanx or anything like that – I rely on eyeliner. And I’ll say this: I use the best eyeliner known to man.

It’s by Lord & Berry and it’s called Polish. If I’m wearing it and wearing enough of it, I don’t care about anything else.

I’m not weird, but…

I like to be in bed every night by 9pm. Then I read, chat with my husband [Kris Thykier] and totally unwind.

It makes me so happy – I really don’t like it if I’m not there by 9pm!
