Dawn set to be a judge on Australia's Got Talent

Just days after they got married, it’s been revealed that Dawn French is already set to leave new husband Mark Bignall.

But the separation will only be temporary – Dawn is heading Down Under next month to be judge on TV talent show Australia’s Got Talent.

The comedienne will be away from charity executive Mark, 49, for up to two months so she was keen for them to get hitched before her departure.

‘She wanted to marry before she had to travel,’ a source tells the Daily Mirror.

Dawn’s very much in love with Mark and isn’t looking forward to being apart for what could be two months if he doesn’t fly down to visit.

‘But she enjoyed being a judge on ITV’s Superstar last year and she couldn’t turn down this great TV offer in Australia.

‘They’ll spend lots of quality time together when it finishes.’

Dawn, 55, wed Mark in an intimate ceremony at a hotel in Cornwall over the weekend.

It comes after the Vicar Of Dibley star split from first husband Lenny Henry, 54, in 2010.
