Selena opens up on 'personal' new track

Selena Gomez‘s leaked new song features an emotional voicemail message that sounds suspiciously like Justin Bieber.

Love Will Remember, a ballad from Selena’s upcoming album Stars Dance, opens with a recording from a mystery male confessing his love for the singer.

Hey babe, it’s me. I just want to call and tell you that I love you so, so, so, so much,’ the caller says.

I just wanted to let you know that you are my princess. You are worthy of all the love in the world.

You are the love of my life.’

Selena sings about a lost love on the track, with lyrics including ‘We lit the whole world up, before we blew it up / I still just don’t know how we screwed it up’ and she’s previously admitted it’s a very important song to her.

That’s the most personal track on the record, for sure,’ the Spring Breakers star told InStyle Magazine in May.

I think it’s a sweet way of releasing it. It’s not an aggressive approach to what people are probably expecting.

I’m sure he’ll [Justin] love it too.’

A rep for Rock Mafia, the producer behind the song, refused to confirm the mystery caller’s identity to E! News.

It’s no secret that Selena, 20, has an on-off relationship with Justin, 19.

Despite splitting earlier this year they’ve appeared to get back together on several occasions, with Justin posting a particularly saucy snap of the couple to his Instagram page in April.
