Helen thanks 'ledge' make-up artist on Twitter
Helen Flanagan had an unusual emergency at the weekend – she needed an urgent spray tan in the middle of the night.
The ex-Coronation Street star was staying at a hotel in Liverpool ready to start shooting Celebrity Super Salon the next day when she started worrying that she was looking too pale.
So with the help of an assistant, Helen desperately tried to find a local beautician to give her a golden glow.
‘Helen is very self-conscious. She was in her hotel room and wanted to get a good night’s sleep before filming her new show the next day,’ a source tells The Sun.
‘But she looked in the mirror and convinced herself she looked really pasty. From that point on she couldn’t sleep.
‘Finally her friend got hold of a girl called Nicole Francis – but by the time she got to the hotel it was 1.30am. That didn’t matter to Helen.
‘They did the tanning session and she went straight to bed knowing she’d be looking her best next morning.’
Helen, 22, was very grateful for the emergency bronzing and thanked her saviour Nicole on Twitter.
‘@NicoleFrancisSP @lip_couture Darling thankyou so much for my spray tan at 1.30 on Sunday you ledge xxx loved my tan,’ the actress Tweeted yesterday.
‘hope we can do the same thing Sunday at a much better time! Girls get following #liverpool #mobile #tan x‘
