Band reckon upcoming record is a risk

One Direction have started work on their third album.

And the boys – who released Up All Night in 2011 followed by Take Me Home in 2012 – have left Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne, 19, in charge of penning most of the tracks.

‘We wrote three songs on the last album but this is different,’ reveals Louis, 21.

Liam and I have been spending our days off writing.’

But Louis is aware that 1D‘s decision to come up with their own music might not appeal to all – and Harry Styles, 19, agrees.

‘It’ll be interesting to hear what people have to make of it but you’ll always get criticised,’ he tells The Sun.

Harry adds: ‘Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but it’s easy to hate One Direction.’
