'It was me being too much army and not enough prince,' Prince Harry says about getting starkers in Las Vegas
It was a giggle for most of the world when Prince Harry was snapped naked on a blow out holiday inLas Vegas back in the summer of 2012.
But he has admitted regretting being in the photos in an profile inside Man of the World magazine saying: ‘It was probably a classic case of me being too much Army and not enough prince. It’s a simple case of that.’
Well, we have to confess to being pretty glad that we saw a bit of Army Hazza! Harry embarked on the break to unwind after heavy duty tours in the forces.
Confessing that he had a lot to think about during his second tour in Afghanistanand because of his involvement with the Wounded Warrior Project, Harry says: ‘To see young lads – much younger than me – wrapped in plastic and missing limbs with hundreds of tubes coming out of them was something I never prepared myself for.
‘I saw some horrendous things. The tragic injuries and deaths of local people from roadside bombs, some children; coalition forces lying on the battlefield.’
Harry you are a hero in our eyes and we salute you.
Harry has been keeping up the good work this week taking to the phones on Wednesday to raise money for England Rugby’s All Schoolsprogramme, at broking company ICAP’s Londonheadquarters.
There’s no end to Harry‘scharitable turns in sight – he masterminded the successful Invictus Games this year – an Olympic-style competition organised for injured veterans.
Earlier this week, outgoing Harry surprisingly confessed to getting ‘incredibly nervous’ before giving a speech or entering a room of people.
‘I get incredibly nervous before public speaking no matter how big the crowd or the audience,’ Harry said.
‘And despite the fact that I laugh and joke all the time I get
incredibly nervous, if not anxious actually, before going into rooms
full of people when I’m wearing a suit.’
Hazza you can do no wrong in
our eyes. Revealing his secret as part of a campaign to mark World Aids Day and to help put an end to the stigma surrounding the disease, Harry agreed to unveil the secret as part of his ‘Feel No Shame’ campaign.
