Ri-Ri cries after performing Stay

Rihanna got very emotional during a concert in Lille, France on Tuesday night.

The singer, who’s midway through her Diamonds World Tour, was overcome by the audience’s applause after performing the ballad Stay.

She started to sob as fans cheered for her before emotionally thanking her supporters for their love.

‘Thank you so much, I can’t believe this sh*t,’ Ri-Ri, 25, told the crowd at the Grand Stade Lille Metropole.

‘Y’all make me so happy, this is everything that matters to me.

‘To stand here and feel the love in this room throughout this entire tour, it’s coming on to the end of the tour and it’s sad. I hate this part, I hate saying goodbye.

‘You guys showed me so much love tonight, I don’t know what the f*ck I’m crying about.

‘Thank you so much. I love you guys – it’s the Diamonds World Tour so you know we can’t leave yet.’

It’s a dramatic change of emotions for Rihanna, who reacted angrily when fans pelted her with crisps at a show in Manchester last week.

Ri-Ri annoyed audience members by showing up an hour late for the gig at the MEN Arena but she wasn’t too happy herself when the crowd showed their frustration.

‘I swear to God, cut that sh*t out,’ she ranted at the culprits.

‘Really, chips? Chips though? That’s that important?

‘I knew you were all going to be crazy but f*ck. This is next level.’
