Believe singer's family home raided by police

X Factor star Ella Henderson‘s parents have been arrested as part of an investigation into alleged money laundering.

Two large detached properties in Tetney, Lincolnshire owned by Ella’s mum and dad – Sean, 47, and Michelle, 49 – were raided by police and Michelle was questioned at Grimsby police station.

Sean was reportedly arrested in London, where daughter Ella, 17, is currently living and recording an album.

Neighbours in the village of Tetney said they were shocked by the dramatic scenes.

‘There were police everywhere with cars and flashing blue lights,’ an onlooker tells the Daily Mirror.

‘It was obviously a big raid. They had springer spaniel sniffer dogs out around the house as well.’

Ella shot to fame on The X Factor last year and, despite being eliminated from the show, was signed to Simon Cowell‘s record label Syco earlier this year.

The teen star’s spokesman wasn’t available for comment.
