Couple are still loved-up

Louis Tomlinson hopes Eleanor Calder won’t give up on their long-distance relationship.

The One Direction star admits that being apart from student girlfriend Eleanor, 21, so often is quite tough but he thinks they cope with it well.

Ah, it’s so great, couldn’t be better,’ says Louis, 22.

I sometimes worry that she might want to go and find a boyfriend who’s there every day.

Obviously it’s not easy having a long-term relationship in this job, but it frustrates me when people say it’s impossible.

It’s definitely doable, it’s down to the people and whether they want to make it work enough.’

Louis – who has been dating Eleanor for over two years – does everything he can to see his girl when he gets the chance.

Whenever there’s a gap in the schedule, that’s always my first thought,’ the singer tells Fabulous.

Not many days have to go by before I really start missing her, so sometimes – even if it’s just the odd day – I’ve flown back from a show, had a day in London and then flown back again.

It keeps you sane. It’s important to have that one person I can confide in and be close to.

We trust each other completely and the relationship wouldn’t work if we didn’t. We’re really loved-up.’
