Louis Tomlinson has been keeping himself occupied

He has just a few precious weeks off work – as he takes a break from the One Direction world tour. But Louis Tomlinson still managed to find time to help change the world. Or at least make a few people’s lives that bit better.

The 22-year-old is back in his hometown of Doncaster. But rather than lounge around on the sofa and watch telly by tapping the remote control with his toe (which is what we’d do), Louis got out there and supported a few projects close to his heart.

Louis is a proud patron of the Eden Dora Trust, which supports children affected by encephalitis, a rare
condition that causes inflammation on the brain. To help them he spent some time signing a bunch of cuddly teddy bears to sell online to raise money for the cause.

The Yorkshire lad has said in the past: ‘I am incredibly passionate and driven to make a real difference with this brilliant charity’.

He also fulfilled his ‘childhood dream’ and played for
his much-loved home football team Doncaster Rovers to help increase the profile of the small club and also raise money for a local children’s hospice.

Updating his Instagram followers he wrote: ‘Went training at Rovers today with Stan!! Soooo nice to spend proper time in Donny!!’

All of these activities are bound to be keeping him busy during a tough time in his personal life. Louis would normally be spending time back in the UK with his longterm girlfriend Eleanor Calder. But the couple split last month after four years together.

This week has been the first time that the One Direction star has had time away from the stage since his
shock split. And by the looks of things he is spending it productively and reminding everyone what a truly great guy he is.

Although he has been busy doing charitable work, he hasn’t forgotten about his loyal One Direction fan base either. Louis took time to pose with fans, taking loads of selfies and pulling funny faces.
