Blimey! Could the pitter-patter of tiny feet be around the corner for model David Gandy and singer Mollie King?
And excitingly, that day might not too far away.
Much to our delight, the pair confirmed they were back together in October after they abruptly ended their 10-month romance in 2011.
Now D&G model, David, 34, has revealed he’s super broody.
‘I would like to settle down and have children – and Mollie‘s a very special person,’ he said. ‘ It’s not something we’ve sat down and discussed but we’re both on the same page with it. I’ve always wanted to be a father. The timing might not be perfect right now, but I can’t imagine it’s far off.’
Aww – how cute!
Of course, Mollie‘s already a dab-hand at nappy changing, having been on babysitting duties for her The Saturdays bandmates, Una Foden, Rochelle Humes and Frankie Bridge who’ve all had kids.
In fact, Mollie, 27, recently admitted that bandmate Una’s second pregnancy was making her broody.
‘She’s having such a good pregnancy. She never moans or makes any complaints about anything, she’s brilliant,’ Mollie said. ‘I definitely would love a massive family one day just like children running around everywhere. Not right now but loads of them in the future.’
Nine months is the future, Mollie. C’mon, it’s not like sleeping with David Gandy is a chore!
Mind you, they have JUST got back together and David did admit his need for things to be perfect can make him hard to live with.
‘My perfectionism can make it difficult. I know my ex-girlfriend struggled,’ he said after Mollie and him split. ‘Things have to be perfect – everything in the house, every car I buy. That’s incredibly hard to live with if you don’t understand it.’
To be fair, we can think of far worse things to live with other than having the perfect house and car.
Now, let’s hope that perfect baby really isn’t too far off. We’re not sure we can wait any longer.
