Chatshow host realises long-held dream
Paul O’Grady has landed a part in Doctor Who – playing himself.
The telly personality will appear in the season finale but is not expected to share the screen with Time Lord David Tennant, 36.
Instead, he will be seen talking about strange events on his chatshow, which will alert the Doctor to his next mission.
‘Paul has been desperate appear on the show for ages and asked if he could be a guest star,’ a source tells The Sun. ‘Fortunately, Doctor Who creator Russell T Davies is a big fan of his too and jumped at the chance.
‘We’ve had to wait until his chatshow is filming again so we can shoot him on set. It will be the usual camp Paul – just maybe a bit more sinister.’
Paul, 52, will film the scenes next week.
