Singer is fighting back against cruel abuse

Peter Andre has revealed that he sank into depression after receiving abuse on his Twitter and Facebook pages.

The star has had a tough time recently, with eldest brother Andrew undergoing cancer treatment, and he’s now spoken about the cruel online bullying he received earlier this year.

‘There are these people out there who just say the most horrendous things about my family, about me,’ says Pete, 39.

‘And it’s so awful that it does start to get inside your head and pull you down.

‘I had things said that I was using my brother’s cancer to further my career, terrible things I’d never repeat about my older brother, Mike and my kids.

‘It was a certain group of people doing it on Twitter and it got to me. I could feel myself being pulled down by it, going into a depression.’

Pete is determined to fight back though and is planning to take action against the abusers, who often don’t use their real names.

‘I’m starting a legal battle,’ Pete tells Fabulous magazine.

‘My lawyers will be able to find out who these people were making up these lies. And I will take legal action against them.’
