Music producer is allowed a list of requests

Phil Spector‘s been relocated to the ‘sensitive needs’ wing of his jail, a spokeswoman confirms.

The music producer, 69, has been in the California Substance Abuse Treatment Facility And State Prison at Corcoran since Monday.

The unit is designed for people who need extra protection, including high-profile inmates.

Phil will not have to share a cell and can make a request for personal items.

‘He wants a TV and an iPod or something like that for listening to music,’ his wife Rachelle tells the Los Angeles Times. ‘And he would like to be able to receive e-mail.

Phil could even be allowed to take part in jam sessions with his fellow inmates.

‘The facility he is on now, there are a bunch of inmates that have instruments and they all play together on the exercise yard,’ says prison spokesman Stephen Smith.

Phil has been sentenced to 19 years to life for the second-degree murder of actress Lana Clarkson.
