Twitter has gone all booby-minded

Piers Morgan is caught in ANOTHER Twitter spat, this time with Hollywood actress Susan Sarandon. Or, more specifically, Susan Sarandon’s cleavage.

After Susan’s spectacular appearance at last Sunday’s Screen Actor’s Guild Awards, where she introduced the In Memoriam segment in a white blazer with a sheer black bra underneath, Piers Morgan took issue.

He tweeted a picture of the outfit with the message: ‘Would Susan Sarandon wear this to a funeral? No. It was thus horribly inappropriate for an In Memoriam tribute.’

Well Susan Sarandon didn’t take the comments lying down (okay, she technically it’s sitting down) and posted a #tbt of her in a white bra.

She captioned it: ‘Today’s #TBT is dedicated to @piersmorgan’.

So Piers threw back his own #tbt in a cheeky response.

We’re sorry we subjected you to that but it was for journalism.

Piers Morgan has been adamant that he meant the context of an In Memoriam speech was an inappropriate place for cleavage: ‘Sems to be some massive misunderstanding that I am anti-cleavage. I’m only anti-cleavage during In Memoriam tributes to dead people.’

While there have been people in support of Piers’ opinions, others have rejected his explanation, with one Twitter user telling the presenter that he should ‘never comment on women’s bodies, and others accusing him of ageism.

However, in a strange twist of fate people are now sending Piers Morgan photos of their cleavage at the ex-Mirror editor. Quite a few people, which he has been quick to retweet.

Right.

Piers Morgan commented on this: ‘Feminists now sending me photos of their cleavage to ‘punish’ me for criticising @SusanSarandon. Curious notion of punishment.’

So where do you stand: Should Piers have made the comment about a woman in the first place or was the outfit inappropriate? Was the comment rooted in ageism or should Piers’ inbox be flooded with cleavage pics. Tweet us at @celebsnow at let us know!
