Katie Piper wants to prioritise the happiness of her son or daughter

Now‘s columist Katie Piper has a new set of priorities.

‘Before I got pregnant I’d set out goals each year for advancing my career and my charity,’ Katie tells us.

‘But now I’m 30 I only have one goal: to be the best mum.

‘I was recently offered a job filming a show in Singapore next year – and contemplated leaving my child behind for a week – or taking a baby backpack!

‘But I turned it down because no job or amount of money is more important than giving my child the best start in life.

‘My mum Di quit her job as a teacher to raise me and although I didn’t realise it then, having her there helped me feel so secure and stable.

‘So, from now on, baby comes first!’

Katie has been feeling very emotional as her tummy expands.

‘I keep crying! My pregnancy hormones are driving me mental!’ she confides.

‘The other day I stayed in to wait for a parcel that didn’t turn up.

‘The company called to rearrange delivery for the next day – simple!

‘But I couldn’t hold back my frustration and burst out crying on the phone.

‘So embarrassing!’
