Jordan has developed a routine for Harvey's needs
Katie Price has never felt like she couldn’t cope with her son Harvey’s complex special needs.
Harvey, 10 – Katie’s son from her relationship with footballer Dwight Yorke – is partially-sighted, autistic and suffers from ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder and Prader-Willi syndrome.
But the proud mum insists she’s never felt overwhelmed by her eldest child’s disabilities.
‘It’s challenging but there’s never one time I thought I can’t cope, I don’t want him. Never,’ says Katie, 35.
The glamour model, who is expecting her fourth child with new hubby Kieran Hayler, has learned to adapt to Harvey’s needs by following a stringent regime.
‘I have to park my car in a certain spot, do this “ribbet” beep noise because he’s obsessed with frogs and flash my lights before I even get out of the car,’ Katie tells The Sunday Times.
‘If I don’t, he’ll attack everything. Anything can trigger him.’
