Ordinary Boys singer says he's not a celebrity

Despite being a bit hit in Celebrity Big Brother – and marrying media babe Chantelle Houghton – Ordinary Boys frontman Preston reckons he’s not an A-lister.

‘I don’t see myself as a celebrity,’ he says. ‘I might have scraped onto a B-list in my prime, but I’m now more of a C-minus.’

His band members knocked his brief stint in the house as the ‘worst idea ever’ but Preston, 25, reckons it made perfect sense.

‘Going onto that show revitalised me,’ Preston tells The Daily Mail. ‘It gave me a new sense of urgency.’

Before Celebrity Big Bro, his band was talking of splitting up. But the publicity from the show gave the Ordinary Boys a top three hit with Boys Don’t Cry.
