Security fears have not put Prince Harry off

Prince Harry is still planning on making a public
appearance at the London event on Sunday to present medals to runners,
according to sources at Clarence House.

‘We have not been notified of any changes to his plans,’ A Clarence House spokeswoman says.

‘He will be making presentations to winners of the mini marathon, the elite
men and women and the wheelchair IPC Athletic Marathon World Cup races.’

The prince is patron of the London Marathon Charitable Trust.

Minister for Sport Hugh Robertson has insisted the London Marathon will go
ahead as planned this weekend despite safety fears after the explosion in
Boston on Monday night, which killed three and injured more than 100 people.

The prince, who is now dating society beauty Cressida Bonas, said he killed Taliban during his duties as an army pilot in Afghanistan.
