Kate and Wills are outraged about invasion of privacy

Kate Middleton and Prince William are so angry about pictures of them sunbathing on holiday in Provence appearing in a French gossip magazine that they have decided to sue the publishers of Closer France.

The paparazzi pictures of Kate topless and Wills rubbing suncream onto his wife’s body are believed to have been taken on a public road half a mile away from the chateau where they were staying, using a telephoto lens.

The couple, both 30, have now launched legal action against Closer France, published under licence by Italian firm Mondadori.

‘St James’s Palace confirms that legal proceedings for breach of privacy have been commenced today in France by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge against the publishers of Closer Magazine France,’ said a statement issued yesterday.

Wills and Kate are currently in Malaysia on their Diamond Jubilee tour.

A first hearing is expected to be heard at Nanterre TGI on Monday.
