The only thing more devastating than Professor Green and Millie Mackintosh splitting up is the bad blood that’s bubbled up since they went their separate ways.
And now things have taken a turn for the worse after Pro hinted that his split from Millie will feature in the new music he’s working on – and he declared: ‘I’m not going to be nice.’
When asked by The Sun if Millie would be unhappy to hear his new lyrics, the rapper said: ‘I think that can be assumed.
‘But I’m not worried about that. People assume they know me and they know the box I fit into but I grew up rapping a totally different way.
‘I hope people will let me release the music and the style that I want.
‘I’m not going to be nice just to sell records.’
It’s not the first bit of shade Pro – real name Stephen Manderson – has thrown Millie’s way either.
After Quality Street heir Millie went public on her rekindled romance with former Made In Chelsea co-star Hugo Taylor just one week after their quickie divorce, Pro hit out on Twitter, posting: ‘Money really can’t buy you class can it’.
And when less than flattering pictures of Millie living it up in Monaco surfaced, he tweeted: ‘London’s gurning.’
Professor Green and Millie broke our hearts when they announced they were separating in February following just two and a half years of marriage.
In a joint statement, the couple said: ‘It is with sadness and regret that we confirm our separation.
‘It is a mutual decision, we still care deeply about each other and would like it to be known that it is on amicable terms and we wish each other well.’
How quickly that sentiment seems to have been lost…
